Nokia 1616 Review
How about an inexpensive phone with a solid and efficient battery? Nokia 1616 will certainly satisfy the needs of those who believe that the cell is used exclusively for dialing. Well, it may be also used from time to time to text ...

Nokia 1616
Nokia 1616 is simply a phone. The only interesting additive here is a color display (1.8 inch and very high resolution). The rest won’t please a typical gadget enthusiast but it offers the reliability good performance. Housing has been further strengthened, and the keyboard of 1616 is resistant to dust. The BL-5C battery in Nokia 1616 has relatively large capacity for such a cheap phone (800 mAh). According to the manufacturer, the Nokia 1616 works without charge for up to 22 days. Not bad.
The media - radio (provided that the additional headset will be bought). That's all, oh... I almost forgot about the flashlight. For some, it is certainly not enough. So that it is still very much considering that the Nokia 1616 costs only $30.
Sony Ericsson Yari Review
Sony Ericsson Yari is a slider devoted to entertainment: Games, photography, music. It even offers GPS navigation and this all can be viewed on a quite large 2.4’ screen.

Sony Ericsson Yari
Sony Ericsson Yari has a chance to become a real hit. First of all, it is not too expensive. $210 is the price offered by one of the providers (of course without a contract and unlocked), which will certainly fall when Yari will go to online stores. Reasonable price alone is not enough.
Sony Ericsson Yari is also very decently equipped. It offers a very good camera (5 megapixels with flash and autofocus), GPS, 3G network support along with fast data transmission, and for dessert a package of pre-installed games. What more could you want from an inexpensive non-smartphone? Maybe a decent battery? Go ahead - Yari has a battery with a capacity of 1000 mAh, which is sufficient (at least according to the manufacturer) for 11 hours of talk time.
Some people will certainly complain about the lack of a touch screen, but to be honest… you cannot have everything. Cheap cell phones with touchscreens, such as Samsung Corby and LG Cookie do not offer 3G, GPS and cameras with autofocus.
Although Sony Ericsson Yari offers only 60MB of internal memory, the manufacturer gives also a 1 GB microSD memory card. You can expand it to max. 16gb.
Samsung GT-S7220 Review
5 MP camera in a pretty good price. The first comments found online are very positive and it is hardly surprising. Samsung S7220 has a classic shape, and it's elegant. What is worth noting is the work of designers who have made an excellent job when it comes to the front cover - the buttons are large and comfortable.

Samsung GT-S7220
The 2.2’ amoled screen in Samsung GT-S7220 is quite Impressive (it offers a very good performance and excellent colors). Samsung GT-S7220 is covered with a special coating to serve you long without cracks and scratches.
Inside of Samsung GT-S7220 you can find several nice features: the rapid communication standard HSDPA (7.2 Mbps), good quality camera with flash and autofocus - the pictures look really nice. In Samsung GT-S7220 you will find 110 MB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot, which can extend your memory to up to 8 GB.
Samsung GT-S7220 is also equipped with GPS with support for A-GPS, so you have access to Google Maps. And virtually everything you need from a phone without an operating system. Well, maybe almost everything, because there is no WiFi. Overall a promising model, even for demanding users.
Samsung S5510 Review
According to Samsung, the S5510 phone is ideal for women. When the manufacturer says something like that, it is usually a product with a completely basic set of features, but in a really nice housing. Meanwhile, Samsung S5510 offers a pretty decent set of features.

Samsung S5510
Of course, the Samsung S5510 is not a smartphone - that would be difficult to expect at a price of about $200. This does not, however, mean that this phone is made simply to make phone calls and type SMSs. Samsung S5510 supports data transfer in 3G (unfortunately not in HSDPA).
Samsung S5510 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera (unfortunately without autofocus and flash). This means that the pictures made at night won’t look good. Moreover, Samsung S5510 offers Bluetooth, a radio with RDS and a microSD memory card slot (you can have up to 8gb memory), which would be necessary for those who like to listen to some music on their cells.
S5510 has a secondary display that lets us find out who is calling before we pick the call. The only thing that may raise some doubts is Samsung's similarity to the Nokia 6600. What woman would like show up with something that her friends already have - and that's more than a year old?
Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition Review
TV on the phone is something that until recently sounded like science fiction. Now it is slowly becoming something common. Nowadays manufacturers offer more and more devices that allow watching TV on their cell phones - such as the Nokia Mobile TV 5330 Edition.

Nokia 5330 Mobile TV edition
Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition is not the first model of the Finnish manufacturer designed to receive digital TV DVB-H - before even Nokia N96 has offered such possibility. However, the N-series smartphones costs several times more than Nokia 5330.
Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition costs relatively little and allows for six hours of continuous viewing (then we have to charge the battery). That's more than enough for daily commuting to work or school. Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition has got a GPS receiver.
Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition has a nice 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus. Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition has extra buttons to control MP3 player (next to the display), and what - finally - is becoming increasingly common: a mini-jack headphone plug. The display in Nokia 5330 is 2.4-inch diagonal. It is enough for business solutions, but watching TV might be a little inconvenient.
Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition’s price (19 November 2009): $180.
Toshiba TG01 Review
Toshiba has recently announced the release of the most powerful smartphone on the market - TG01. The phone has been on sale from 6 October. Today we are going to present its best and weakest sides.

Toshiba TG01 Phone
Toshiba TG01 is sold with a preinstalled Windows Mobile 6.5. Of course, along with this system, the phone will gain access to the Marketplace for Mobile and My Phone website.
Beyond the very strong 1 GHz processor Qualcomm's Snapdragon QSD8250 Toshiba TG01 offers probably the biggest screen available in cell phones - 4.1-inch touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. When it comes to memory, Toshiba TG01 offers a MicroSD card slot and 256MB of RAM.
The camera in Toshiba TG01 has only 3.2 megapixel matrix but it also has autofocus. It would be ok for random occasions, but most modern cell phones offer 5 or more Mpixels. Toshiba TG01 works with 3G HSPA networks. Moreover, it offers WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth with A2DP and EDR.
As the producer said, all existing users of TG01, will get the possibility of a free upgrade from version 6.1 to 6.5, which can be found at Toshiba’s home website.
Motorola VE66 Review
Motorola, has recently been releasing fresh and interesting devices. An example of this is another recently presented a model, working under the control of the Linux operating system - model VE66. The distribution in this model is MontaVista v2.6.10, not JUIX as in previous models.

Motorola VE66
What does the new Motorola offer? Everything that a modern phone which is aspiring to the title of a high-end product. In Motorola VE66 you will find a Bluetooth module (supporting A2DP profile) and WiFi, a microSD memory card slot, 5mpix camera with autofocus, which is assisted by LED. It's not clear whether the device will have Kodak optics (on the housing we have no information about this). Such a solution could be found in ZN5, which is compared to the new Motorola.
The heart of the Motorola VE66 is the new processor: Freescale SCM-A11 500MHz. Motorola VE66 has a quite large - 2.4 inch display, which offers 16 million colors palette. It is possible that the display will also be a touchscreen.
There will be two versions of Motorola VE66: the first model - designed for the Chinese market offers only quad-band GSM / EDGE module, and the second - in addition will be working with UMTS / HSDPA networks and will be available in other markets.
Nokia N86 Review
Nowadays mobile phone users expect embedded camera providing some great shots in all lighting conditions. A new Nokia phone with 8Mpix matrix and Carl Zeiss optics camera - the N86, which was presented in Barcelona, is devoted to such people.

Nokia N86
Nokia N86 is based on Symbian S60, which offers numerous application and quite smooth work, and its simplicity does not make problems to novice users. As I already mentioned, N86 is equipped with a really good camera, whose advanced technologies will impress even experienced photographers.
This dual slider (on one side comes up the keypad buttons and on the other buttons to control the camera and the player) in order to take such great pictures is equipped with a camera matrix 8Mpix, wide angle lens from Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, variable aperture, and fast mechanical shutter, which prevents the dilution effect . Flash, consisting of two LEDs, will allow to take good pictures even at very low light.
It is worth noting that any captured images will be able to immediately send to services like Share on Ovi or Flickr, and thanks to GeoTagging the photos will be automatically assigned to a particular location on the map. The built-in stand allows your hands to relax while watching movies or browsing your pictures, which can be stored on an 8 GB phone's internal memory. The viewing of the pictures is very comfortable thanks to the 2.6-inch OLED display. Nokia N86 is also equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS receiver.
Nokia N86 retail price is about 375 euros.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Review
Recently there has been a lot of talk about the launch of the Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson - Xperia X10. Finally, we were informed about the official release date, which is scheduled for 10 February 2010.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10
The good news is that the Japanese-Swedish company is preparing the device that will probably draw everyone’s attention. It's not clear whether the reported release date also applies to the European market, or if it refers only to Asia.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be equipped with the new 1GHz processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250. Its potential is huge and I have serious doubts as to whether Android will (at this stage) be able to use. Thanks to the efficient processor, designers can revel Xperia’s interface. UX (from the User eXperience) looks very attractive, it has the full use of media and the network abilities of Android.
As you probably already know, apart from the monstrous processor, inside of the Xperia X10 (X3) you can also find WiFi, HDSPA and a GPS receiver. Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 has a large 4 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. This should be enough even for film enthusiasts.
Sony Ericsson has always installed good cameras in its top models. Xperia X10 does not stand out from this rul. The device will be equipped with 8.1 megapixel camera with image stabilizer, which, according to the information found online, will be possible to shoot videos in HD resolution.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not disclose what will be the suggested retail price of Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
Samsung I5700 Spica Review
I5700 Spica is equipped with an AMOLED 3.2 inch touch screen display with a HVGA resolution. It would be really comfortable to read longer texts, view pictures or watch films on it. Samsung I5700 Spica works with the 3G and HSDPA networks. It is also possible to communicate with other devices via WiFi. Another important thing is the GPS receiver. Although, GPS is becoming a standard feature in the newest smartphones.

Samsung I5700 Spica
Samsung I5700 is equipped with an efficient, 800MHz processor and this is, I must admit, really something. The multi-tasking in Samsung I5700 is much easier and everything runs more smoothly. Although, it is a pity that Samsung has not even thought of increasing the amount of RAM in the phone, because it has (like the i7500 Galaxy), only 128MB of RAM.
The 3.2 megapixel camera in Samsung I5700 Spica is surely not a top camera, but for less demanding users it should be enough. At this point it is also worth mentioning that the i5700 Spica is the first Android fully supporting DivX / XviD.
The price of Samsung i5700 Spica has not yet been officially confirmed. It will probably be about $ 479.
