Motorola introduces to its portfolio, a new cell phone: MILESTONE, Europe's first phone equipped with Android 2.0 system. The device is a slider (with a thickness of 13.7 mm equipped with a QWERTY keyboard). Another advantage is the 5.0 megapixel camera installed in Motorola Milestone (Droid). The camera is also equipped with flash.
New Motorola, offering the ability to run multiple applications at the same time, a solution for users who prefer multi-tasking. Motorola Milestone offers a very comfortable interface, which supports multi-touch function is supposed to provide efficient service for music files, playing movies and viewing maps. It is also very helpful when viewing Web pages.
Motorola Droid (or MILESTONE if you like) ensures fast access to the Internet resources and enhanced GPS navigation and the ability to download one thousand applications and widgets from the Android Market. Motorola Milestone also supports an integrated package of Google applications including Google Maps with Latitude, Google Mail and YouTube.
Italy and Germany will be the first European countries in which Motorola Milestone will appear. In North America, the equipment will be sold under the name of the DROID.
